1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of end of tenancy cleaning services by My Cleaning Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("you", "your", "customer"). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Service Description

Our end of tenancy cleaning service includes comprehensive cleaning of the property as specified in your quote. The service includes:

  • Deep cleaning of all rooms, including kitchen and bathrooms
  • Professional oven cleaning
  • Internal window cleaning
  • Cleaning of appliances (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine if present)
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping of all accessible areas
  • Additional services as specified in your quote (e.g., carpet shampooing)

The scope of work is defined by the information provided during the quote request. Any additional requirements must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3.2 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment or signed acceptance of the quote.

3.3 Payment Terms: Payment is typically required within 48 hours of service completion unless otherwise agreed.

3.4 Pricing: All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Prices are based on the information provided and may be adjusted if actual conditions differ significantly.

4. Access and Property Condition

4.1 Property Access: You must ensure our team has full access to the property at the agreed time. Utilities (water, electricity, heating) must be connected and operational.

4.2 Property Condition: The property must be empty of all personal belongings, furniture (unless otherwise agreed), and rubbish. Excessive waste, clutter, or furniture may result in additional charges or incomplete service.

4.3 Safety: You must inform us of any hazards, building defects, or special access requirements before the service date.

4.4 Keys: If keys are provided, they must be clearly labeled. We are not responsible for lost keys but will take reasonable care.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 By Customer: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

5.2 By Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and offer alternative dates or a full refund.

5.3 Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We will accommodate requests subject to availability.

6. Deposit Back Guarantee

Our Deposit Back Guarantee is subject to specific terms and conditions. Please refer to our separate Deposit Back Guarantee Terms for full details. In summary:

  • The guarantee applies only to cleaning within the agreed scope of work
  • Claims must be made within 48 hours of the inspection by your landlord or agent
  • We require evidence (inventory report or similar) of any cleaning-related deductions
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues outside our scope

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance: We carry public liability insurance for up to £5,000,000. We also have employers' liability insurance as required by law.

7.2 Damage: While we take utmost care, accidental damage may occur. Any damage caused by our negligence will be remedied or compensated for, up to the limits of our insurance policy.

7.3 Pre-existing Damage: We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage resulting from poor maintenance or defective items.

7.4 Limitation: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the service provided or £1,000, whichever is lower, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7.5 Valuables: We are not responsible for loss or damage to cash, jewelry, or other valuables left on the premises.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the property, including size, condition, and any special requirements
  • Ensure the property is ready for cleaning (empty, utilities connected)
  • Remove all rubbish and personal belongings before our arrival
  • Provide safe access and working conditions
  • Inspect the property promptly after cleaning and report any concerns within 48 hours
  • Make payment according to the agreed terms

9. Complaints and Disputes

9.1 Complaints Procedure: If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us immediately via email at [email protected] or phone at 07385 813 282.

9.2 Re-clean Policy: If we are notified of any cleaning deficiencies within 48 hours, we will arrange a re-clean at no additional charge, subject to reasonable access.

9.3 Time Limit: Complaints made more than 48 hours after service completion may not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances.

9.4 Resolution: We aim to resolve all complaints within 7 working days. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may refer the matter to an independent dispute resolution service.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of My Cleaning Solutions Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
